A seller of review products should make its own review claims easy to understand. During our inspection, five separate zappycards.com product pages displayed exactly the same rating and count: 4.97 out of 5 from 1,257 reviews.

The wristband page displayed the same rating while advertising that the product was launching soon. That makes the scope of the rating especially important: does it concern the wristband, other products, or the entire business?
A rating beside a product should clearly explain what feedback it represents. We could not establish the source or scope of these repeated figures from the inspected pages.

These are different published review populations. Shop ratings do not, by themselves, prove that a website rating is fabricated. However, the repeated 4.97 website rating should not be assumed to represent these Shop product ratings. Without a clear explanation of where the website figures come from, shoppers cannot reconcile the difference.

Filtering the zappycards.com Shop store reviews to one star surfaced written complaints concerning defective products, products not working, and difficulty obtaining setup assistance. Examples visible during our inspection included:

Pricing clarity: which zappycards.com offer are you buying?
We found two zappycards.com card listings using matching main product imagery. One advertised a single card for $30, while the other advertised one for $40. Their larger packs had identical totals: three for $75, five for $100, ten for $150, and twenty for $240. One page presented quantity discounts; the other described additional cards as free.
Different promotion wording did not produce lower larger-pack totals.

Duplicate-looking listings create more comparison work
The zappycards.com All Products collection displayed two stand listings with matching imagery and pricing tiers. It also displayed two Growth Bundle listings using matching artwork, priced at $197.96 and $199. The image on the $197.96 listing itself said $199.
Two Pro offers appeared at $398 and $399, also using matching artwork. Matching images do not establish identical contents or conditions, but shoppers must investigate further to distinguish the listings.

In our view, unexplained differences in pricing, listings, and review figures can weaken purchase confidence. Buyers should be able to understand an offer without investigating several near-identical pages.
Subscription requirements
Review Zaps advertises its hardware as a one-time purchase without a required ongoing product subscription. The featured zappycards.com hardware pages also say no subscription is required. Separate membership and trial listings do not establish that hardware buyers must subscribe.
