How to Permanently Lock the Link on Your NFC Product

1. What Does Locking Your NFC Product Do?

   Locking your Review⚡️Zaps Product prevents changes to the link stored on the NFC tag.

   This step is optional.

   Locking is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once the tag is locked, you will not be able to edit, erase, or replace the stored link later.

   Before You Lock the Tag

   Make sure everything is correct first.

   1. Confirm You Have the Correct Google Review Link

   If needed, generate a fresh link using our free:

   Google Review Link Generator

   Search for your business, select the correct location, then click:

   TEST MY LINK

   Make sure it opens the correct Google review page.

   Then click:

   COPY MY REVIEW LINK

   and use that link when programming your Review⚡️Zaps Product.

   2. Test the NFC Product

   Before locking the tag:

   • Tap the Card or Stand with your phone
   • Confirm the correct Google review page opens
   • Test it more than once
   • If possible, test it with a second compatible phone

   Do not lock the tag until you are completely satisfied that it is working correctly.

   3. Fix Any Problems First

   If the wrong page opens, the link is incorrect, or the tag scans inconsistently, correct the problem before locking it.

   Once the tag is locked, these changes can no longer be made.

   How to Lock the Tag

   1. Open the NFC Tools app and tap Other from the home screen.

2. Tap Lock Tag.

3.  Tap Lock to proceed, then hold your phone over the NFC Product until NFC Tools confirms the tag has been locked.

Only lock your Review⚡️Zaps Product if you are certain you will not need to change the link later.

If you expect to change businesses, locations, Google Business Profiles, or review links in the future, leave the tag unlocked.
